ABOUT AGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Personally we don't like age recommendations, and have avoided them. Most of our books can be used with such multiple age groups that age and grade levels seem to limit them. We have used some guidelines however. Our recommendations for age ranges are very flexible. For example: a great picture book is valuable for ALL ages, not just for children one to five. If a book is a great book it will work well for everyone! Please remember that as you read the catalog.

When I want to introduce a new subject to the children, I first study a very simple children's book to get the most important ideas. After getting the general idea, I then go on to more detailed reference books. This has proven invaluable for me.


We hope the breakdown for target age groups below will help you.

Target Age Groups:
~ Very Young Children: targets 2-5 year olds

~ Young Children: targets 6-9 year olds

~ Older Children: targets 9-12 year olds

~ Junior High: targets 12-14 year olds

~ Senior High: targets 15-18 year olds

 ABOUT OUR SHIPPING PROCESS

We work diligently to ship orders as soon as they arrive However, because we charge a low amount for shipping and handling, we try to ship complete orders.

ABOUT PRICE CHANGES

We do our best to keep our prices updated. However, publishers constantly change them without notifying us. When this happens, we must charge accordingly. For minor changes, we will honor the published internet price to you. However if there are any major changes, we will notify you before filling your order.

ABOUT BACKORDERS


Although we do our best to have most of our titles in stock at all times, a backorder may occur if we (or our suppliers) are temporarily out of stock of an item. Sometimes a product is so popular we may sell out of that item before we are able to order additional quantities. If you do not receive a complete order, your invoice will indicate you of any backorders with a B/O next to the product and the item will ship as soon as it arrives. Please note: We will only charge you for items when they are shipped. If the product becomes temporarily unavailable, we will notify you via email or by phone.

ABOUT SALES TAX

Sales tax is added to all orders delivered to an address in the State of Florida.

ABOUT RETURNS

Although we sincerely hope all of your selections meet your needs, we realize there will be times when a return is made. Our return policy is as follows: If an item does not meet your needs, a refund of the purchase price of the item, excluding postage and handling charges, will be given within 30 days of your receipt of the item. The item must be returned in re-sellable condition. If the item is received past the allowable time, either a 15% reshelving fee will be deducted from your refund or your return will be sent back to you, based on our discretion.

Please package any return with plenty of packing material to avoid damages during shipping. The package should not shake. (Please do not use newsprint or brown paper grocery bags as the print rubs off on the items and is not removable.)
If an item is being returned due to a publisher error or a Lifetime Books and Gifts error, a refund of the return postage costs will be refunded in the amount of 4th class postage rates.

The information collected on this site is strictly confidential, safe and secure.  Names and personal information will not be sold, shared, traded or redistributed to 3rd parties in any form, electronic or in print. We highly respect your privacy, therefore, we only collect information volunteered by our customers and necessary for shipping orders.
